I would like to be able to setup some watch investments for tracking share prices when I have not previously made any investment.

I see that I cannot create an investment with a zero share value for this purpose but I can create the investment with a share purchase and go in after pricing records are created and delete the original records for the purchase.

What is the best way to create zero share value investments for the purpose of tracking share prices?

Is a change required to Fund Manager to allow zero share entries?

Hi IanC,

You can create an investment and own zero shares. Just enter 0 for the shares, or leave it blank. You cannot set the "Price" to zero, but it is okay to start off the shares at zero.
Thanks,
Mark
