Hidden sold investments should reapppear depending on report

Hi - it would be great if the hidden flag for investments was date dependant - i.e. if doing a historic report on holdings, it would be good if all investments that have been subsequently sold were automatically visible for that report , but investments that had been sold prior to report date were not visible.

Hope this makes sense?

Currently you not only have to remember that there might have been sales since report date, you also have to deal with report full of shares with zero holdings balance as at that date when hidden investment are turned on again.

Hi Paul,

Instead of using the hidden attribute, use the report option to automatically hide investments with zero shares. From within any report, see "Options / Report Preferences... / General / Do Not Display Investments With Zero Share Balance". You can set this option to any of these:

Never (show all investments)
On Ending Report Date
Over Entire Report Date Range
