Suggestion: Country-specific Forums

Might it be helpful to establish country-specific forums where users can trade notes on their experiences with their countries' brokers, price-retrievals and so forth?

For example, in Canada it seems there is no broker that offers holdings and transaction downloads for import into personal financial software. I could be wrong. Perhaps someone has found a solution?

Thanks for the idea. I hesitate to create too many forums. At this point the existing "Prices and Transactions" forum would be appropriate for these discussions. We can re-evaluate going forward if that forum gets overloaded.

Not sure if they give much info on brokerage deals etc. but you can find Country by Country info on aml / sanctions / tax exchange agreements etc which is useful at the following open access web site: -
