Fidelity switch charges

When I use transfer in/out to handle these movements the only mechanisim I have to takes account of charges is through the OOP value and market value fields.

Could you consider a field to consider a % switch cost i.e, 0.5% for transfer in as the transfer out could be handled at zero cost.

Is this teh correct process or should I use sell/buy?

Hi Gally,

I would suggest using transfers and not buys/sells, since you don't want to generate a capital gains event. Any fees associated with doing the transfer should be recorded as separate "Account Fee" transactions.
