Memorized Graphs (investment overlay)

Comments, critical feedback, praise, or suggestions for new features.

Hi Mark,

Any news on development of memorized graphs?

I am using the save portfolio function, however I have many investment overlay graphs and it is difficult to navigate to the one I want to consult at the moment.

This would be a fantastic feature.

Thank you.

Hi CGB,

Okay, thanks for the feedback. We can consider this for a future major update.
Thanks,
Mark

Actually, it'd be perfect if we can somehow also save a layout with them, like the one shown.

Hi Oscar,

You can do this now with your portfolio file. If you set up the windows the way you want, and use "File / Save Portfolio...", the next time you open that portfolio file (which usually happens automatically on startup), all your windows will be restored as you had them last when you saved the portfolio.
Thanks,
Mark

Thank you Mark, that's what I actually do but since I also use another set of three windows simultaneously -with the portfolio editor and a couple of reports-, switching between the two layouts require 4 clicks -one per graph window- or 3 clicks -one for the portfolio editor + 1 for each report- hence it'd be good to be able to save each layout and just click once to switch between them.

Hi Oscar,

Okay, understood. Restoring multiple saved graph windows, and their positions would be something more than just memorizing a graph, like we do with memorized reports. We'll have to give it some thought.
Thanks,
Mark

Being able to memorize the overlaid investment graphs would be the priority for me, I understand the additional complexity of saving layouts.

Thank you,

Oscar
