Hi,

I have a Portfolio with multiple currencies. It would by nice, when i could choose a sort order where the investments are grouped as follows:

1. by currency
2. within the currency by Investment (Name or Symbol)

Hi Hansjörg Zimmermann,

Are you talking about sorting the investment stack order? If so, you can do this by sorting twice, once by name, and a second time by currency. See "Investments / Sort By" from within either a graph or report window.
Thanks,
Mark

Hi Hansjörg,

Where are you trying to get this order? In a Report? Portfolio Editor? Investment stack order?

Are those investment names (CAD New Gold) inside a sub-portfolio (Group A)? If so, you could just sort by investment name in that case. If you can clarify what you're looking at I can try to help better.
Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark,

Group A is a subportfolio.

CAD, DDK, NOK, EUR are the currency Codes, and the Rest is the Investment Name.

I try to get this order within the reports, for example the Performance Report or the Portfolio Value Report.

Thanks

hi Hansjörg,

You can do this. Create your report, and list by investment. From within the report, make sure the "Sort" menu has "Investment Stack" checked, so you are sorting by the investment stack order. Now, go to "Investments / Sort By / Name" and then do it again and choose "Investments / Sort By / Currency". This will leave you with the investment stack order primarily sorted by currency, and secondly sorted by investment name.
Thanks,
Mark
