Possible bug in new Internet Retrieve multiplier

Comments, critical feedback, praise, or suggestions for new features.

I like the new Internet Retrieve Multiplier function - works well for most of my investments, but I may have found a bug.

I track prices of two identical investments (one for me, one for my wife) in the same portfolio. They have different names, but of course the same Symbol (GB0033028001GBP), and are both retrieved in exactly the same way from the Yahoo UK server. They both have an Internet Retrieve multiplier of 0.01.

However, when I do a Retrieve All, the first one in the stack is correctly multiplied by 0.01, but the second is multiplied by 0.0001. I tried switching the order of the two investments around in the stack, and even moving another investment inbetween them, but it made no difference - always the first listed is correctly multiplied, but the second one is multiplied by an additional .01.

If I then select the incorrectly multiplied investment, and simply do a Retrieve Selected Price, it is correctly retrieved with the right multiplier.

I've also tried setting the second inv multiplier to 1.0, but then it is imported 100 times too big in a Retrieve All.

Seems like the .01 multiplier is being applied twice for the second investment.

Using FM9.1. The problem was also there in FM9.0.

Is this a bug?

Hi John,

Thanks for the nicely detailed bug report. This is indeed a bug. I was able to reproduce it too. We'll have this fixed in the 9.2 release.
Thanks,
Mark

Thanks Mark. Do you have an ETA for 9.2?
