Hello Mark,
I would like to see the % change on the RHS for price only as per the price & distr. I have to constantly use the data stack and calculator to get the price change only.
Also I find the report % gain(F) to be higher than the actual price % gain so I expect the % gain(F) includes distribution.
As we don't always own all the investments it is not always possible to get all distributions to compare different investments and therefore one would like to compare by price change only.
One would not like to add these distributions if you don't own the stock just to be able to compare.
Please advise how to see the % change in price only.
Regards.

Hi fundman247,
The "% Change" field in the Portfolio Editor only shows percentage change in price (without distributions) for investment lines. For portfolio lines it is a percentage change in value, which would factor in distributions.
Yes, the %Gain-F field includes distributions per share.

Hi Mark,
May be you misunderstood me. I was referring to the price graph if one could see the % price change where currently one can only see the % change from the starting date of the graph if one goes to the price&distr graph.
Also is there any report one can do to get the % in price change between dates supplied as you indicated that the %gain final includes distributions?
The portfolio % change is only valid for that specific date until 23h59.
I would like to set my start and end date(current date) and get the price only % change.

Hi fundman247,
Sorry, I did misunderstand... There is no graph option to show this % for the "Share Price" graph, like there is for the "Price + Dist." graph.
If you only want the % change in price (not distributions) there is no built in report field for that, but if you're using the Professional or Advisor version you can define your own field for a Custom report, with the equation:
100*(End_NAV-Beg_NAV)/Beg_NAV

Thanks. I have the personal version.
I mentioned this if it could perhaps be in a future add on to FM personal for the price only graph.

Hi fundman247,
Okay, thanks for the feedback. This has been something we've had on the "to-do" list for a while, but it has never made it into an update. We'll see about increasing the priority.

Hi Mark,
Thanks for keeping it in mind.
Its now over 20 years that I have to use a calculator to get to this value = price change only as I cannot get it on a graph as I would prefer but also not in a report.
I use it more than once a week.
Regards. fundman247.
