I know that somewhere on this site you have details about what the actual computations and formulae are for all your variables. But every time I come here, I can't find them again. If you tell me where they are this time I will bookmark them for future reference, but I also suggest you add a direct link somewhere on the home page. Surely I am not the only person who needs to know how you calculate R2 or what the difference is between Gain-I and Gain-F.

Hi Mary Kennedy,

Probably the easiest way to find a definition, is to press "Help / Help on Report..." while you're looking at a report that has a field you don't know about. You can also find this same documentation here on our website. On the left side of any page, click "Documentation". In the window that comes up, on the left is a table of contents, so you can go to "Using Fund Manager / Reports / Report Types". A third option is that at the bottom of any of our pages is a link to "Search". You can type in the name of the field you want in that search box, and it should help you find it.

I'm guessing that the specific documentation you're asking about here is the documentation on all the "Custom" report fields. You can find that here:

Thanks,

Thank you. That is indeed the page I was looking for and I now have it bookmarked. When I searched for it the other day I followed the path you suggested here, going through help to reports but maybe I used the wrong search terms or something. I never saw this page explicitely listed as a menu option. That is why I made the recommendation.
