Currency issue in beta 2014

I own shares in PRS.OS (Prosafe, Oslo Exchange). My server for price updates is Yahoo-UK/Ireland. Price is retrieved in krone (KRW) but displays in $USD - perfect & just the way I want it to work.

When setting a Price Alert, however, it assumes KRW - (would be nice to specify which currency you want the alert to be based upon or some indication in which currency it is expecting the alert to be expressed) and when exiting the Alert box, the line in Portfolio Editor is no longer shown in $USD but rather in KRW. A 'retrieve selected price' for this single holding will revert the display back to USD.

Hi gmsimon,

It is correct that price alerts are entered in the native/assigned currency. All data entered/imported/retrieved is done in the native assigned currency.

I tried, but I couldn't reproduce this problem. Does it matter what type of alert you set? What specifically in the Portfolio Editor is showing in the native currency? The "Price" field? Do you have "View / Exchange Rate Adjusted" turned on? I could use some more help in trying to reproduce this problem here...
Thanks,
Mark

You can close this one - it must have been a setup issue. I re-read your tutorial, played around with currency dialog, exchange rate investments, etc.

Now working perfectly. Thanks.
