I entered a bunch of transfer in/out transactions to see what effect a major rebalancing would have on my portfolio due to retirement. I wanted to see what would happen to income projections, mix, etc. It worked, and was quite helpful -- but it was difficult to remember where all the transactions were and to reverse all of them. If I wanted to come back to the scenario later, I would have to re-enter all of them.

It would be helpful to be able to import these temporary transactions from Excel, and have some way to turn them on and off as needed.

Thanks.

Hi AssetHound,

Thanks for the feedback. I could suggest a couple ideas:

1) Make the changes, look at your reports, and then exit without saving.

2) You could also do a "File / Backup..." before you start, and when you're done, do a "File / Restore...". You could even do another "File / Backup..." that includes your changes, and then you could restore either the original or modified versions.
Thanks,
Mark

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll give the backup strategy a try since that would prevent having to enter all the changes again.
