Substitute for Quicken?

Comments, critical feedback, praise, or suggestions for new features.

Hi Mark,

I'm a big fan of Fund Manager but, unfortunately, I've had to use Quicken for my retail banking needs (tracking accounts, bill pay, etc.)

I just upgraded to Quicken 2012 and setting fire to a hundred dollar bill would have been more fun than the ordeal I'm facing with Intuit. I'll spare you the details, but I'm not alone:

Problem is with MS Money off the market, Quicken has a monopoly. I've searched for alternatives, but none handle banking and investments well.

I really wish you'd consider adding a banking module to FM. Perhaps something that could be bolted on to the existing package that could be sold separately? I'd like nothing more than to ditch their tired, old, bug-ridden software for something -- anything -- better.

Hi aviator,

Thanks for the idea. Unfortunately, this is not in our near term plans. We have limited resources, and plan to focus those on the existing investment account management capabilities. Maybe someday...
Thanks,
Mark
