Open Lots - Sum of Shares in Totals line

It would be useful to me if you could show the sum of shares in the Totals line of the Open Lots report when an individual symbol is selected.

I often find myself in the situation that I want to know how many shares of a certain security are in what accounts, and the Open Lots report gives that info to me.
However, the next thing, invariably, is me staring at a column of 6 numbers which I must add in my head, or type into a calculator, or run another report to get the sum total of that position.
Having the sum available on the report would be nice. Naturally, it would not be meaningful to supply this sum for more than one symbol.

Hi Juergen,

This report already works this way, but only if you have the "All in Sub-Portfolio" option turned off in the "Report Settings" dialog, so that you select a specific investment for the report. If you leave that option on, but happen to only have one investment with open lots, you won't see the shares. Try making sure you specify the investment, and then you should see a shares total.

Hi Juergen,

Good point. Currently you can "Filter" by symbol, and in this case the shares are not shown in the total line. We can try to improve this in a future release.
