Is there a way to show $Change for Day (#shares x per share price chg) for each investment?
Would also love columns for Trailing/Forward PE Ratio, 52-wk High Price, 52-wk Low Price, Annual Dividend & Current Dividend Yield (could these be retrieved from Yahoo?).
Know you are working on this but also would love subportfolio totals on screen w/o having to run report.
First impression - great product!

Hi gmsimon,
Thanks for the feedback. There is a change in price, or a % change from the prior day, but not the value change. Seems like a good one to add... You can get this in a Custom report (Change in value from previous).
Fund Manager doesn't track PE but some of the other fields are available in the Custom report. For dividend yields, see "Dividend yield" and "Expected dividend yield".

Maybe I'm missing something, but I have a customized "Portfolio Value" report to check how my investments do on a daily basis. Three of the fields I show on that report are "Value (beginning)", "Value (ending)" and "Change in value (between)". I set the Start and End Dates to the same date and I get the correct results.

Hi StarBright2011,
Yes, that will work to get the value change for the last day. I believe gmsimon was asking for a column in the Portfolio Editor to get this number. That field is not available in the Portfolio Editor, but there are a couple of different ways you can get it in a Custom report.

Mark - you are correct. I was asking for this as a column in the Portfolio Editor.

I would agree with gmsimon,
it would be very convenient to show totals in the porfolio editor window without running any report. basically that is how most of the online brokerage firms present the portfolio in their online portfolio systems.
Certainly reports are great to retrieve very specific information about a portfolio or sub-portfolio with lots of flexibility. But at a first glance when login in I would be happy to see the list of holdings with a "total line" showing e.g. day change of portfolio in %, absolut, etc. just as the bottom line of the portfolio editor list of holdings.
Overall a great product which shall get better every day ...

Mark, I just downloaded 11 Beta and I have four words for you:
I love you, man.
My most sought after improvements -- totals at the bottom of the portfolio editor and color coding -- are in there and make FM more useful than ever.
I haven't tried to link sub-portfolios yet, but I can see how I could use it to my benefit.
Mark, thank you for listening to your users and delivering a quality product.

Not sure how important this is, but...the Totals line on the Portfolio Editor (in my custom view) show %of Portfolio, acquired date (earliest), $Value, $Value Change, Total $Basis, $Unreal. Gain, %Gain and totals for 3mo, 6mo, 1yr & 3yr yield. The alignment under the detail columns is pretty close but I noticed if I move a column (eg, the 3 mo yield), the corresponding total does not move with it.

Hi gmsimon,
Thanks, I see this problem too. If you use drag/drop on the column headers, the total line doesn't update. However, if you use "View / List Columns..." to re-order the columns it works correctly. We'll get this fixed for the official release.
