I solved part 2 of my question about cash account problems, I simply dragged the cash account from the closed accounts into its proper portfolio and presto! back to normal. The first problem remains a serious one, the cash balance shown does not change as it should. What am I doing wrong. This is a problem in another portfolio, too, not just one.

I answered your question in the other forum, where you asked it... If you have a follow-up question/comment it is usually best to reply to that existing thread instead of starting a new one. It makes it easier to follow.
