Bug: Copy / Paste report column Investment Type (FM 2016)

Comments, critical feedback, praise, or suggestions for new features.

After updating to Fund Manager 2016 the following bug appeared with reports. To reproduce:

1) Create a custom report and include Investment Type as one of the columns.
2) Execute the report on a portfolio or sub-porfolio where there are one or more investments with investment type "Exchange Traded Fund". You should see the full text of the investment type as expected.
3) Right click and select "Copy Text" from the context menu.
4) Paste the result into a text file.
5) Result: the investment type "Exchange Traded Fund" is blank. Other types appear OK.

I worked around the problem by renaming the type "Exchange Traded Fund" to "ETF". Other similar columns, such as Asset Type, do not show this strange behavior.

Hi LynneB,

Thanks for the bug report, I see this same issue. We'll get it fixed for the next release.
Thanks,
Mark
