Mark, I just upgraded to 2014 Professional two days ago. I leave my computer on at all times and FM running. Two times in the last two days when I come don in the morning I have a message that FM has stopped working. The only way I can stop FM is with the Task manager. Today I had about 100 small FM windows up cascaded. I am running Windows 7 on an AMT Athlon II x64 630 processor at 2.8 Ghz with 6 GB Ram and a 64 Bit OS
One of the other program running at all times is Thunderbird and Fidelity ActivePro 10.1.
IS there any way to drop back to the previous version till this one becomes stable?

Hi 4Profits, Sorry about the troubles. Is there any mention of a crash file being created that you can email to us? What do all those small windows say? If you have any ideas on how to reproduce the problem, that would be helpful. You can still download the 12.9 Professional version from here: http://www.fundmanagersoftware.com/modlist.html#Last12xHowever, the 12.x version won't be able to read in your data created with the 2014 version. You would have to restore from a backup created before you converted to 2014.

Hey Mark, just some input, I'll bet this has to do with the problem we discussed earlier in the week with historical downloads not ok'd and the regular quote server updating at the same time. This was similar to the long string of messages I got as the quote server continued to try and download and would kick off the same message over and over if the user left the program unattended. I know you have a fix for the next update. See quote function malfunction if you need more into. Hope this helps. Frank

Hi Frank,
Thanks for the info, that is a possibility... We'll see if 4Profits can shed any more light on the exact messages.

Mark, The program has run ok for the last 36 hours. I will leave it run and if it crashes again will try to find out what windo is open. I never got anything on a log file being created. My application log had 100's of PerfNet errors about 1 sec apart and a few PerfOS errors and PErfNet errors. The first one was a Bonjour Service error. To me this doesn't sound like FM errors.

Hi 4Profits,
Thank you. It looks like you are using version 2014.13.0? Can you try downloading the new 2014.13.1 version, and see if that fixes this problem? We did fix an issue here, that prevents a new automatic price retrieve from initiating if the prior one is still running.
