Sorting alphabetically the category labels

Comments, critical feedback, praise, or suggestions for new features.

Hi Mark,

Regarding the sort alphabetically command in the Category Labels dialog box, when there is a label beginning with a letter after the U letter ("Volatility" for example), it appears at the end of the list, after all the "unused00" entries (or the after the "user defined 00" entries for Investment Goal - perhaps an inconsistency here ?). Of course I would like that the entry appear before.

I know I can reorder manually after the alpabetically sorting, but to put at the top the last entry I have to clic 80 times...

Any idea ?

Thanks.

Hi Djobydjoba,

Okay, thanks for the feedback. Maybe we could improve this, by adding a keyboard shortcut so you could hold down Ctrl+<Up Arrow> to quickly move the selected item up the list.
Thanks,
Mark

Yes, that would be good.

I thought I could rename the "unused00" entries to something like "zzz_unused00", not manually (no thanks), but with an export of the registry, replacement and reimport, but all the "unused00" don't appear in the registry, in particular for the Investment Goal labels (only the used entries appear).

Try editing one, and then it should show up in the registry... The names of the keys are based on their original default names, like "User Defined 27".
Thanks,
Mark

OK, thanks. I will wait for an improvement instead of playing with the registry.

Thanks.
