Change in Mutual Fund class

Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

Postby Clark » Thu Oct 16, 2025 6:24 am

Hi Mark

I need your help.

I owned a retail class of a mutual fund, symbol A.

Last Monday, it was transferred to the institutional class with a change in the number of shares to symbol B. I split the shares and changed in the properties the symbol from A to B.

Yesterday, I made a sale of B and Fund Manager made a new investment. So now I have two investments with symbol B, and a different CUSIP.

How do I correct this?

Hi Clark,

1) Edit the original investment's properties so it has the correct new CUSIP, shown in your new B investment

2) Copy/paste or manually enter that sale transaction from the new to the original investment

3) Close the new investment

When retrieving transactions, the CUSIP is what is important to match incoming transactions with existing investments.
Thanks,
Mark
