Buy/Sell Exchange Rates

Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

Postby zeryk » Tue Jun 02, 2009 1:46 pm

I have investments in multiple currencies where there is a "buy" exchange rate and a "sell" exchange rate. I'm wondering if there is a way to track this correctly - i.e. my OOP expenses are calculated at their sell rate and current valuations are done at their buy rate?

Hi zeryk,

Sorry, no there isn't. Fund Manager only uses a single exchange rate when converting to the default currency for reporting purposes. You can of course get this when reporting in the native currency of the investment, but not when you're converting to the default currency.
Thanks,
Mark
