Hi gmow,

Make sure you are using the format string:
ED,SYMB,TRAN,ANUM,BNUM,CNUM

Notice, the first line in your CSV file doesn't need to have the format string. The error message you're getting is telling you that it couldn't import that header line, but the rest of the lines will import if you use the above format string.
Thanks,
Mark

Changed $ANUM to ANUM, removed the header line. Still getting

File to Import: c:\users\glm\onedrive\fund manager div import\feb 22 2023.csv
Input Format: ED,SYMB,TRAN,ANUM,BNUM,CNUM

Error Importing Line: 20210322,ARE.TO,DIST_D,0.18,0,0

It looks correct, and it works okay here. I notice the filenames are a bit different. Are you sure you posted the exact same file you're importing?
Thanks,
Mark

My date format in general preferences is M/D/Y

Could this be an issue?

Hi gmow,

The issue is the CSV file is saved with UTF-8 BOM encoding, so there are 3 non-visible bytes at the beginning of the first line. If you re-save it with ASCII or plain UTF-8 (no BOM), that should correct it. I've done so, and attached your file here.
