Problem Retrieving Price Update

Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

Mark: We keep several years of investment information in FM (Professional 2020.16.7.100, Quote 561, Transaction 243). A fund (SIMTX) we owned at AB (Bernstein) was closed last year. We have NO money in said fund currently, but every time we run "Retrieve Selected Prices", we get the following error:
"The following symbol/server combination failed to update SIMTX from (YAHOO - HISTORICAL)". Since AB terminated the fund, and all other symbols in our FM data base update successfully, it is clear the failure is due to the fact that the fund no longer exists. Yet for historical reasons, we don't want to delete SIMTX during the periods we did own it. How can we stop the error message. Thanks, Phil

Hi Phil,

Right mouse click on the investment, and choose "Investment Properties... / Internet Retrieve" and turn OFF "Retrieve Price".
