MUTUAL FUNDS DID NOT UPDATE CORRECTLY

Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

Today all my stocks updated prices correctly and several of my Fidelity funds updates but others just put yesterday's (9/1) closing price in again for today's (9/2) price. I tried several different servers with no success. I had been playing around with downloading information from my brokerage account but did not figure how to utilize it; did I mess up my files?

Hi F. Hudson Miller,

If you download from Yahoo now, do they update correctly? Can you give me an example of one that isn't working? Please include:

Symbol
Server
Quote Module you're using (See "Help / About...")
Price updated in FM
Price seen with your web browser on Yahoo

Having a wrong price doesn't mess up your files. You can just re-download prices for that one day. If you do it before today's fund prices are released, you can use Yahoo, otherwise you'd need to use Yahoo (Historical).

At about 11:00 pm the problem seemed to resolve itself. It must have been a problem with the data servers.
