Yahoo UK historical

Hi Mark,

I'm trying to retrieve historical prices for ATF, which was delisted last year. I've tried all your other historical servers, but they no longer make the data available. But I did find historical prices on Yahoo UK:

Any chance you could enable FM to use the Yahoo UK Historical server?

Hi Bill,

We can consider it, depending on how many others may find it useful. For this one, you can utilize the "Download to Spreadsheet" option they have at the bottom of that page. You can then import the prices into Fund Manager with "File / Import / Prices / Generic..." command. Press the "Help" button in this dialog for instructions.

Yeah, thought of that. Unfortunately, the "download to spreadsheet" link doesn't work (the link points to icharts.yahoo.com, which comes back with "invalid ticker"). I might resort to entering quarterly or monthly prices by hand - that way I can at least do reports on a few carefully chosen dates.

You might also be able to copy/paste from the page you see the quotes, into a text file. You can then clean this up a bit, and import it with "File / Import / Prices / Generic...".

Thanks for the idea. Took a little fiddling, but cut-and-paste plus generic import did the job for me. Thanks again!
