Future initial and variation margin registration

I woul like to know how I can register manually the opening position of a long or short position on a futture, keeping in mind tha tI must track price ( with the multiplier) and initial margin that can be a percentage or a fixed amount, that can change daily, and register the variation margins at the end of each day.

Hi Arrow,

Fund Manager doesn't have specific support for futures. All investments in FM work off the same model, where you buy/own some number of shares, and there is a price for those shares. The valuation is simply the price on a given dates times the number of shares owned. I'm really not familiar with how futures work, but if you can use this model, then you can track them. It may be a matter of combining the price with the multiplier, or something like that.
