change and% change not updating

HI Mark I am getting zeros on all holdings in the vlaue change and % change columns is this a change in the default server? was the same yesterday too

Hi Alan,

Do you have pricing data recorded for the 2 dates in question?

For example, if you're looking in the Portfolio Editor, do you have prices for today and yesterday? Use the Data Register, and look under the "Prices" data type to see your recorded data.

yes prices are there but change in value is zero for all investments Used to always show change since lasrt update in value and percentage

Where are you looking at the change in value? If it is the Portfolio Editor, make sure you have a price for today.

being in new zealand and the clocks changing I only see yesterdays price When will the register show todays prices

It depends on the data source, and what market you're retrieving prices from.

Looking at the prices data on some days it says price 0000 an high 0000 that is why I get a 0000 in the value change column in portfolio editor next date there is a value how can I fix this

Hi alpappy,

The values in high/low wouldn't affect the "value change" field. The value change is the change in close from the prior day to the date being calculated. Also, you shouldn't see just "0000" in a field. Maybe you have the column too narrow, and it isn't showing the whole field? Maybe you can post some screenshots, showing the problem?

HI I get% change LD but no values on % change or value change Can you make an LD button for both as in NZ the time change cannot give me a change value we are a day ahead Else can I use servers that more on my time zone

Hi alpappy,

Thanks for the feedback/idea. You might also consider creating a Custom report, and adding the fields you want. With a Custom report you can set the end date to whatever date you want, so if you don't have price for your current date yet, set the ending Custom report date to yesterday, where you do have pricing data.

You can use any of the quote servers. FM generally updates prices for the date as specified by the server.
