Retrieved Price not being displayed

Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

The FM sw was recently installed on a new pc and the portfolio migrated. All worked fine.
Now created 3 new investments in the existing (but migrated) portfolio and can retrieve the updated price correctly (as shown in the retrieve log) but this price is not reflected in the portfolio editor. Existing investments are displayed properly.

Hi hill walker,

The Portfolio Editor displays data for the current date. Open up one of these investments in the Data Register, and change the data type to "Prices". Look at your recorded closing prices. Maybe when you retrieved prices, you're getting a price for Friday, and if you manually created a new investment did you maybe assign a price for today, which is a weekend? The Data Register should help explain whatever is going on. When you create a new investment and enter an opening date/price, that is recorded as a closing price in the investment.
