Transation Download - Importing Twice for One Mutual Fund

Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

Postby George B » Tue Dec 26, 2017 11:45 am

I am downloading transactions from my broker website and on one of the mutual fund purchases the new investment is being created however the purchase is posting twice and deducting the cash twice from the default cash account.

On the transactions to be downloaded screen it only shows the transaction once but posting it twice. I cannot figure out what / why this is happening. I do not own this investment in this sub portfolio prior to this purchase.

Thanks in advance for your help or insight.

Hi George B,

Not sure, but here are some ideas to check:

- Are you sure it isn't recorded once already before you retrieve? Do you have "Skip Transactions Already In Fund Manager" checked on the transaction retrieve settings dialog?

- Check to make sure you only have 1 sub-portfolio assigned to the unique account number, and also that it isn't set to retrieve on more than 1 sub-portfolio.
Thanks,
Mark

Thanks for your response.

I have checked and it is not recorded once before. I do have the retrieve set to skip transactions already in the portfolio.

There is only one sub-portfolio assigned to that account number. It is not set to retrieve on more than one sub-portfolio.

I have not had this problem previously on this sub-portfolio or any other sub-portfolio I have,

George

Hi George,

Maybe you can call our office next week, and we can take a look at it together.
Thanks,
