% Change goes to zero after midnight

Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

Hi Mark,

Why do my % Change figures go to zero after midnight, even though I update nothing. Is there a setting? Or is it just using the current date and when that changes, it computes to zero?

I know I need to go to bed anyway, but I kind of feel like Cinderella and trying to get all my fun done by midnight.

Thanks for Fund Manager and all you do to keep it going.

Hi Homer,

Yes, you are correct. The Portfolio Editor always calculates based on the current computer date. You could either look at a report with set dates, or you can add the field:

% Change - LD

to the Portfolio Editor using "View / List Columns...". This works similar to % Change, but is based relative to the "Last Day" of a recorded closing price. I think this will give you what you're looking for.
