Error in Investment Statement Transaction Response

Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

Postby 05Cameron » Sat Oct 29, 2016 9:04 am

Hi,

I just upgraded to the latest Professional version of Fund Manager. When I attempt to retrieve transactions for the last week through Morgan Stanley Wealthy Management, I receive the message Error in Investment Statement Transaction Response followed by Account Not Authorized. Interestingly enough, this happens for only some of the portfolios through this brokerage, but not all of the portfolios, even though they are part of the same account.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hi 05Cameron,

Does it always happen for the same accounts? If so, can you try retrieving one of these problematic accounts again, and afterwards, email me the "ofxretr.txt" log file? You can find it in the hidden folder here:

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Fund Manager

It would also be good to call your broker, and make sure all your accounts are enabled for Open Financial Exchange (OFX) access. (they might call this "Quicken" access). Even though you can view your accounts through their web server, the OFX server is separate and access can be controlled independently.
Thanks,
Mark
