Hi all,

From another thread when Bloomberg was dropped:

FED/RXI_N_B_CA was the Quandl code for the USD/CAD exchange rate, updated daily.

However, Quandl dropped it in favour of a data provider that charges for it. The remaining FED/RXI_N_A_CA is annual and doesn't do daily.

I checked out the german one...no luck for me, but the Wall Street Journal server works (FM 14.10 anyway)...using fx/USDCAD as the symbol as shown.

The Help file at https://www.fundmanagersoftware.com/faq ... wnload.php shows more options. Following the link to Wall Street Journal indicates that a URL is involved I think just to see their webpage for it...v14.10 retrieved the daily data seemlessly.

Daily CAD Values! But we're not going to debate why the CAD is less than the USD...

Cheers,
Thomas

Hi Thomas,

It looks like you can also get the daily USD/CAD exchange rate for free on Quandl using the code:

BOE/XUDLCDD

See:

https://www.quandl.com/data/BOE/XUDLCDD ... ar-into-US

for details.
Thanks,
Mark
