Price updates for "New Zealand" always delayed

Hi Mark,

have been using your great product since year dot - love it.

I notice you have two options for NZ share prices (Yahoo and MoneyOnline).

I cant get MoneyOnline one to work - when I go to their webpage directly I cant see a page for entering in stock quotes. Has something changed there?

Yahoo works fine, but is always delayed by up to 24 hours, I cant quite figure out why that is. Do you have any suggestions ?

Hi Paul,

I just took a look at MoneyOnline, and it is no longer providing quotes. Unfortunately, we'll have to remove this quote server. I don't have any better suggestion than Yahoo - Australia & New Zealand. If you know of another good free server for NZSE quotes, please let us know.

Actually, have you tried looking up your quotes on Bloomberg? They have quite a few international quotes.

I followed your tip and have a few things to report.

1) Bloomberg also works for NZ exchange.

2) I think my original problem was not correct. I think both Bloomberg and Yahoo are retrieving a close to current price (well 20 mins delayed) but since the time in the US is still yesterday (from an NZ perspective ) the retrieved quote appears to come in with yesterdays date. I'm actually OK with this as long as I now understand it.

3) I checked and the NZ Stock Exchange website also has a quote server:
https://www.nzx.com/search?query=TEL

So you could consider offering that as a replacement to moneyonline.co.nz - however my investigation shows that it gives the same results as Bloomberg and Yahoo anyway.
