Special Case Reinvested Distributions

Hi Mark,

I own an ETF that announced (see attached) a reinvested capital gains that will not be paid in cash or result in additional shares but will be captured by a change to the cost base.

In the past, I've added a reinvested LT Capital Gain followed by a Stock Split to reduce the shares count back to the pre-distribution quantity.

So, I'm just wondering if FM has a cleaner way of inputing this type of transaction.

There was no attachment, but from your description your solution sounds like the proper way to record it to me.

I did get an error message regarding the attachment while submitting my question, it didn't like the PDF extension.
