Importing TD Ameritrade before 5/2008

I have had a TD Ameritrade account since 2004 and yet Fund Manager seems to only be able to pull transactions/holdings/etc back to 5/16/2008. Have other encountered this problem? is there a way to get transactions that precede this?

Hi Robbo14000,

This is not unusual. Many brokerages only keep transactions on their "OFX" servers for a fixed amount of time. It sounds like this is 2 years for TD Ameritrade. If you use the New Portfolio Wizard, you can retrieve the last 2 years worth of transactions, and Fund Manager will make an "adjustment" purchase at the beginning of this time period to get your current share balances correct. If you'd like to have accurate historical records prior to 2 years ago, you can go in and delete that adjustment entry (or edit it), and either manually record, or import from some file, the transactions prior to 2 years ago.
