Google Quote Server for Canadian Mutual Funds

Google has Canadian mutual fund prices - including historical.

My FM lists only the Google (Historical) as an option for downloading Google quotes - and this does not seem to work for either current or historical mutual fund quotes.

Hi Septaj,

Can you give me an example ticker symbol for a Canadian fund you can view on Google? Are you looking at the US version of Google Finance or the Canadian version? For example, does the URL of the page you're on start with:

www.google.com/finance

or

www.google.ca/finance

The existing Google quote servers in Fund Manager today are using the US site.

TD Japanese Index - e is (MUTF_CA:TDB907). MUTF_CA precedes the fund code as shown here.

Hi Septaj,

We have just released quote module 442 to add support for retrieving mutual fund quotes from Google.

1) The Google (Real-Time) server was updated to support retrieving current prices for mutual funds, in addition to stocks/indices/etc. This server is only available in the Professional and Advisor versions.

2) We have added a new server: Google (Historical Mutuals). This server is available in all 12.x versions. This new server can retrieve 200 historical prices at a time for mutual funds. For details on using this new server, see:

To obtain the new quote module, select "Help / FM on the Web / Check for Updates..." from within Fund Manager.
