Problem updating historial prices

Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

Hi Mark

In one portfolio, I do not get a date range prompt when trying to update historical prices and the prices don't update.

I can manually update prices for a single date by right clicking on a stock and selecting Update Price. My automated nightly update works OK.

I do not have this problem in other portfolios.

I am using personal edition 11.5, quote module 429 and transaction module 159.

What do you suggest?

Hi jb3,

Did you check what you have assigned for your historical quote server? It sounds like you may have a daily server assigned somehow. See "Options / Internet Settings..." and make sure you have some historical server, like "Yahoo (Historical)" assigned under "Default Historical Quote Server". If that still doesn't fix the problem, verify your investments have not all overridden the default historical server setting under "Investment Properties... / Internet Retrieve". As long as 1 or more of your investments are using a historical server, you should get the prompt for a date range to retrieve.

Right, as usual, Mark. The historical retrieve source was Yahoo, not Yahoo Historical.
