Transaction Retrieval from Morgan Stanley with 10.9

Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

Postby chask89 » Mon Mar 21, 2011 6:53 am

I have been using FM Pro 10.7 with no problems and can retrieve all transactions for 10 accounts. When I upgrade to 10.9 I get a message that states there are no accounts for that user name. Any suggestions?

I am using same user name and password in both versions.

Hi chask89,

There were several changes in this server a while ago. Please make sure you've downloaded the latest transaction module by using "Help / FM on the Web / Check for Updates...". Try it again with the latest module, and let me know if you still have troubles.
Thanks,
Mark

I have tried the updated transaction modules, that is when the problem starts. Only module that seems to work is 137

Can you still retrieve okay with module 137? If so, can you send me the log files using 137, and then the log files using 422?

After a transaction retrieve there will be 3 log files: "ofxpost.txt", "ofxretr.txt", "xmldump.txt". The log files will be located here:
Windows XP and earlier:
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Fund Manager
Windows Vista and 7:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Fund Manager
Thanks,
Mark

Have searched my computer, do not find those files or those directories

The "Application Data" or "AppData" folders are hidden, so you will need to turn on the display of hidden files/folders. If it would be easier, you can just give me a call, and we can work on this together over the phone. Click on "Contact Us" in the upper/right corner of our website, and you'll see our contact info.
Thanks,
Mark

I have no problems with Module 137.

The files you listed are not found anywhere on my computer.

Just to document the results of our phone support... Once you see the message that Morgan Stanley reports no accounts associated with your login, press OK, and then "Yes" when Fund Manager asks if you want to retrieve anyway.
Thanks,
