Transaction Import Start Date

Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

In 2023 after TD was bought by Schwab, I had FM downloaded the transactions. For some reason all the accounts downloaded transactions as if the whole account was sold twice, throwing off everything.

I went through all the transactions manually and deleted the "sale's" that were causing me to be out of sync and then reconciled all accounts.

Since then, any time I go to import transactions the start date automatically sets itself to Aug. 2, 2023 instead of the last date that I ran the import.

Any help on this matter is greatly appreciated.

Hi williamg85,

This default start date is memorized on a per sub-portfolio basis, and stored in your *.mm4 portfolio file. So, make sure are starting the transaction retrieve at the same sub-portfolio, and are saving your portfolio (File / Save Portfolio). This should cause the default start date to be initialized to the date you last retrieved.
