Date Above Pie Charts

Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager graphs.

Postby akahrim » Sat Nov 18, 2023 1:21 pm

Mark...is there a way to have today's date (to) always show above pie charts?

I have set the date in View > Dates (Pre Defined-Ranges:) to Today, and saved the portfolio, but on the next day the date above the pie chart is yesterday's date

Thanks

Hi AK,

You can't make it always "today", but you can make it always the "default ending date", which is the date of the most recent recorded price. To do this, use "View / Dates..." and set the ending date such that it is the same as "Latest Price" shown in that dialog. You can either specifically set the end date, or use one of the dropdown choices that has an end of the default ending date. Save your portfolio with "File / Save Portfolio" afterwards.

Usually, the default ending date will be the same as today, unless you're looking on a weekend, where there aren't closing prices, so the graph will default to Friday, where you have your most recent recorded price.
Thanks,
Mark
