Mark,
I have the following calculations on my legend text for the Cost | Price graph

Legend Text is as follows

Graph : CST-PRICE(NAV)-[[COSTFLAG]]
Symbol/Shares : [[INVSYMB]] - [[EINVSHARES]]
Basis : [[CURRENCY]] [[EINVCOST]] = [[EINVCOSTNAV]] per/share
Value : [[CURRENCY]] [[EINVVAL]]
Close : [[CURRENCY]] [[EGRAPHVAL]] ([[EGRAPHVALCHANGE]])
Desc : [[INVDESC]]
--------------------------------
Type: [[INVTYPE]] / - Rec :[[INVGOAL]]
Asset Type: [[INVASSET]] - Sector: [[INVSECTOR]]
File: [[INVLOCATION]]--[[INVFILENAME]]

I have the following transactions
Date Price shares Invest
10/12/2018 38.452 100 $3,845.2
10/11/2018 47.75 88 $4,202
5/7/2018 57.455 188 $10,801.54
3/5/2018 54.82 -188 $-10,306.16

Totals 188 $8,542.58

Calculated Basis = $8,542.58 / 188 = $45.439 per share

Why does the legend calculations show:
Basis:$10,806.57 = $57.642 per share instead of
The Total Cost= $8,542.58 = $45.44

Hi Jim,

Which exact graph legend field are you asking about? What is your graph end date? Can you either email the *.dat investment file or post a screenshot of your transactions in the Data Register?
Thanks,
Mark

Hi 4Profits,

Thanks. If you look at the bottom right corner of the graph, what is the end date? Also, what specific legend field are you asking about? I am out of the office this week, but will look at it on Monday.
Thanks,
Mark

The end date is 9/10/19. I am looking at the legend text field starting with Basis which should show the total cost basis for the shares I own and the basis per share.

Hi Jim,

Here are the transactions in the sample you sent:

The OOP calculations use FIFO for accounting, so you sold 188 shares on 10/12/18. Those sold shares were purchased 3/5 and 5/7/18. So, the only remaining shares owned on the ending graph date were the shares purchased 10/11/18 for $10,806.57.

The transactions you typed in your original post are not the same as I'm seeing in the file you sent. For example, you showed the redemption on 3/5/18, but I see it on 10/12/18.
Thanks,
Mark
