Graph Legend Text

Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager graphs.

Looking for a way to display the subport file name on a graph. This was discussed in a previous post. I would like to see Sally Port on the graph. Any ideas? and I just upgraded to 2018 version- longtime user.

Hi Jimbo,

The ability to customize the legend text, including inserting a wide variety of fields, is available in the Advisor version of Fund Manager. If you're using the Advisor version, right click on the graph, and choose "Graph Options / Legend Text...". See the "[[SUBPORT]]" field to display the sub-portfolio wherever you want in the legend.
Thanks,
Mark

Thanks for the reply- I do have the [subport] option for legend text, just nothing populates. Must be because I a have the Personal version....oh well.

Hi Jimbo,

I really blew the original answer to this question. The ability to customize graph legend text is available in all versions. The Advisor version does offer additional fields for inserting, but all versions allow you to customize the legend text. It should work fine for you to insert the [[SUBPORT]] field. Notice there are 2 double square brackets, and not 1. Also, the letters are all upper case. If you use the "Insert Field..." button in the dialog that will allow you to make sure the field is inserted properly.
Thanks,
Mark
