Investment Overlay Problem

Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager graphs.

Postby 93674 » Fri May 09, 2008 9:27 am

I use ONEQ as my NASDAQ index in investment overlays. Since 4/30/08 the overlay plot for ONEQ has 'flatlined.' If I try to plot several graphs using Graphs/Investment Overlay/Share Price/Options/list of plots, they all plot normally except that ONEQ goes to zero on 4/30 and stays that way for the rest of the plot.

What gives? Never had that problem before. When I look at the data, it is all there in the ONEQ.dat file.

Hi Al,

It appears Yahoo is having trouble with this quote. If you go here:

http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=ONEQ

and click on "Download Data" on the right side, you'll see it has a price of $0 in the downloaded data. We've written to Yahoo about this on other securities, and they're aware of the problem, and working to fix it. It has been going on intermittently for a couple of weeks though. If you temporarily switch to "Yahoo (Historical)" and update prices back through the date where the problem started happening that should correct the issue.
Thanks,
Mark
