memorize recurring graphs

Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager graphs.

Postby CGB » Wed Jul 04, 2018 2:36 am

Hi Mark,

When I make a an overlayed graphs (portfolio/investment, or investment) and then use the portfolio save button, I find that I cannot make another overlayed graph to save, is this right? It seems that only one set of overlayed securities is possible?

You say one can create named graphs. Is that a way to do it? I have not seen a text box for this?

Thank you.

Hi Clarke,

You can create a 2nd graph window, and set separate items to overlay in this new graph window. From within your first graph, choose "Graphs / New Window...". You can then customize this 2nd graph window with whatever options you want. Each graph window is independent in the overlay items you choose. If you use "File / Save Portfolio", those graph windows will be memorized as part of your portfolio file, so that when you re-open that portfolio both graph windows will be re-created as they were when you saved.

There isn't a feature to memorize graph windows by name, like there is for reports. You can only save them as part of your portfolio file.
Thanks,
Mark
