Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager graphs.

Hi Mark, For an unknown reason, in the Portfolio Gain graph, the cursor doesn't snap correctly to the gain line for the 19/06/25 date for a portfolio: https://i.ibb.co/Z16S8z3x/Portfolio-Value.gifSame problem in the Portfolio Value graph. Not the problem in the Portfolio/Investment Overlay > Value graph. An idea where the problem comes from? Thanks

Hi Djobydjoba,
I’m out of the office on vacation for another week. I’ll take a look when I return and let you know.

Hi Djobydjoba,
I'm guessing it may be due to an exchange rate calculation. If you turn off the "Display..." option:
Allow Fast Exchange Rate Interpolation for Portfolio Graphs
or, if you turn off "View / Exchange Rate Adjusted", does that make a difference?

Hi Mark,
Good guess, the problem disappears then in both cases.
Digging into that, this particular day (the 19/06/25) was a public holiday (Juneteenth), so no quotes on this day for the investments in USD into the portfolio. So indeed the option "Fast Exchange Rate Interpolation" has a strong effect on this day.
That said, we can probably admit the little bug here...

Hi Djobydjoba,
I'm not sure I would call it a "bug", as it is working as expected, given the description of the fast exchange rate interpolation option. You're trading off plotting speed for a slight chance of accuracy on these occasions, and you have the ability to turn it off if maximum accuracy is more important.

Ah okay, I thought the cursor had to snap the price line in every situation, but you are saying that the cursor keeps the accuracy, even it it means to no longer snap to the price line. That makes sense, even if the effect is a bit bewildering... Thanks for the explanation.
