Batch printing list

Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager reports.

Mark,

Recently bought a new system and reinstalled FMA. I have the registry key to import for custom reports et al. However, I did not get the batch print list. Anyway to do that?

Hi Mike,

I think you're asking about your "client list"? This information is stored in the file "clientdb.fmc". This file is stored in your "Documents \ Fund Manager" folder. You can either manually copy it to your new computer, or if you're using "File / Backup" and "File / Restore" this file is included.

Mark,

Yes, it is the Client list. However, the file you cite is not present. I will check one of my old system backups. It should be there. If so I can restore it. Otherwise, I assume it will have to be recreated.

Hi Mike,

You might try searching for clientdb.fmc on your old system. If you can see your client list in Fund Manager, then that file should be present there. Restoring from a backup would work too.

I can see the client list but clientlistdb.fmc is not there. I was able to restore from a backup. I'll let you know if that does not work.
