Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager reports.

What report would I use to get the return (%) and dollar figure for a portfolio? Say I wanted the month to date performance of the portfolio both in terms of dollars and %?

thanks

Hi gerhardps,

You could use the standard "Portfolio Performance" report. This reports both the dollar figures that you started with, ended with, and gained/lost. It also has a "Yield" column, showing the ROI yield in a percentage that you owned over the specified time period.
Thanks,
Mark

Hi gerhardps,

You would enter margin debt as a negative balance in a cash account. Cash accounts normally maintain a constant $1 share price, so you would own a negative number of shares in this margin account. You can just record a sell transaction to create a negative balance.
Thanks,
