Custom report for Selected Sub-portfolio

If I left click an existing sub-portfolio and then select a non-custom report, the report appears for the left clicked sub-portfolio, however when I try this for a custom report I must re-select the sub-portfolio through the settings dialog. Am I missing something?

I can't reproduce this here. When I select a sub-portfolio and then choose "Reports / Custom..." that select sub-portfolio is selected for display in the Report Settings dialog.

Are you maybe talking about a 'memorized' report instead of a custom report? Memorized reports also memorize the sub-portfolio property.

If you're still seeing this problem with a custom report, please let me know what version you're using, and the exact steps you're taking so I can try to reproduce the problem here.

Yes it is a memoralized report, which is the only way I know to save the custom settings, so there is no work around for this, correct?

Correct. You'd have to change the portfolio by selecting "Edit / Report Settings..." after creating the memorized report.
