Min and Max values on filtering

I am trying to filter an investment transaction report to match credit and debit transactions. When I try to apply a filter to the report to remove low-value transactions I get the error message that the minimum value must be less than the max value. The max value defined is 1,000. The minimum value is -1,000. As far I can remember, -1,000 is less than 1,000. Why do I get this error message?

Hi Vandring,

The top one labelled "Transaction Value >=" is for the "minimum". It is filtering numbers greater than some minimum value. So, put -1000 in the top box, and 1000 in the bottom box, and you should get what you want.
