portfolio value report

When I generate this report for two days, I apparently get the same value for both days. what am I missing?

Also, although i have the symbol box checked the report lists the investment by name not symbol.

Did you verify that you have different pricing data recorded for the 2 dates that set for the report settings? Look in the Data Register under the "Prices" data type. For example, if you set the 2 dates for a Friday and a Saturday, you'd probably have the same pricing, so you'd get the same values.

Do you mean your report has "List By" set to "Symbol"? There is no 'symbol box', but you choose "Symbol" from the drop-down list next to "List By". That should create each line in the report for each unique symbol in the portfolio.
