Variance Between Exec Summary and Portfolio Value Report

Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager reports.

Postby jclv1000 » Wed May 25, 2022 12:11 pm

Recently, I believe since the February upgrade, I've noticed a small variance between the Executive Summary Report and the Portfolio Value report. The Portfolio Value report, with all of the detail, is correct but for some reason I'm getting small variances in the ending market values of the executive summary. I am not sure how to troubleshoot this, given that the detailed report is correct. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. I wasn't sure how to attach a print screen.

Hi jclv1000,

Some things to double check:

1) Are the report ending dates the same?

2) In the Executive Summary report there is an option to include accrued interest in the valuation. If that is on, it will say so in the report text, plus you can also check in under "Options / Report Preferences... / Executive Summary"
Thanks,
Mark

It was the accrued interest. Thanks for the fast response as always!
